I learned about Taiwan back in 2005 when I worked for a big glass-making corporation in Taichung that has many factories around the world; during this time is when I met my wife. After returning to the U.S.A, I always remembered the great food, fun, and the many people I met that told me they were English teachers. I found that being an English teacher is something that I might want to try. A lot of my jobs when I was growing up were working closely with people of many ages in many different places, this was because I had a passion to work with people and do the best I can to make a difference and make changes in their lives any way I can.

I’m 24 years old. I’m currently completing my Masters Degree in English Language at the University of the Philippines. I’ve been teaching ESL/EFL for six years now. I started as an English language partner to English teachers from Korea. I’ve taught English to young and adult learners in classrooms and through distance learning environment. I’ve taught Korean, Japanese and European students. I specialize in Business English such as negotiations, presentations and telephone English. My expertise includes Survival English-English for Travelling, TOEFL, TOIEC and IELTS review. I also enjoy teaching American and British English.
Being a Taurean and being born under the year of the dog, I’m very passionate about what I do. I work hard for my students. For me, teaching is a form of dialogue. I make sure that my student and I build a loving and supportive connection through open communication. People say that those born under the Dog sign are loyal, friendly and loving. I enjoy outdoor activities such as biking, swimming and playing Frisbee. I love to read and I’m a fan of J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter series. Other authors whose work I enjoy reading are Bob Ong, Paolo Coelho and Robert Fulghum.
Anyone learning English for the first time will dislike English, but I’m here to guide and help through the journey. My former students think that I’m very smart because of the many things they learn from me. Rest assured that your lessons will be fun.
