大學指考英文作文寫「運動」，對高中生很好發揮。閱卷老師說，英文作文交白卷情況明顯減少，3000份樣卷中有20分滿分的佳作。約有三分之一的考生寫「慢跑」，寫籃球的考生也不忘提「Linsanity」(林來瘋)。
指考英文科閱卷老師、國立台北大學應用外語系教授劉慶剛表示，最多考生寫的運動項目是慢跑，因為慢跑是高中生最易做的運動之一，另外像打籃球、游泳、騎單車等，也是作文中出現的熱門運動，另有少數考生寫瑜伽、跳繩。
劉慶剛說，考生必須寫一篇至少120個英文單字的英文作文，說明最常從事的運動是什麼。第一段描述該項運動的進行方式，第二段說明從事該項運動的原因，以及對生活的影響。作文滿分20分，評分標準依據內容、組織、文法句構、字彙拼字、體例等五個項目給分，字數明顯不足扣總分1分。今年零分樣卷多數是交白卷，由於題目貼近高中生的生活經驗、很好發揮，今年交白卷減少許多。

Hi everyone! My name is James and I am from Chicago , U.S.A. I have been living and working in Taiwan for about a year now. Taiwan to me has been an exciting and friendly place. People all around me are very friendly and helpful. There are always plenty of beautiful and scenic places to visit. Also, Taiwanese food is amazing! I often find myself going to the “night markets” to find out what’s new and delicious to eat.
大家好！我叫做 James，來自美國芝加哥。至今，我在台灣待了約一年的時間，覺得台灣是個處處有驚喜、又充滿人情味的地方。我周遭的人群都非常友善，也時常對我伸出援手。台灣不但有欣賞不完的美景，更是個不折不扣的美食天堂！我有空時就會跑去夜市，品嚐一種又一種的新奇小吃。
I majored in the field of education and teaching is my passion. Some of my teaching experiences include teaching in public schools in the U.S. , S. Korea and finally here in Taiwan . I love sharing new information with people in a fun and entertaining way. I also enjoy listening to other people’s viewpoints and experiences. I understand that each person learns in a different and unique way, and harnessing and connecting their ideas will make learning more meaningful. My goal is to make learning English interpersonal and useful to all my students. Above all, I hope I can help increase fluency and self-confidence by involving you in many fun and relaxing English driven conversations.

Hello, my name is Gabby and I am an American Teacher from Connecticut . I studied history and political science in college and received my Masters in education in secondary social studies. I am state certified to teach in Connecticut also. This is my first time in Taiwan and I have been teaching at an elementary school here since February.

日本語教師歴約7年。中国語教師（約7年）及び翻訳（約10年）を同時に勤めています。日本語と中国語を中心としたこの三つの仕事を「三立」しながら、日中両国の言語文化への認識を深め、語学教師としての経験も積み重ねてきました。この認識と経験が、皆さんの日本語学習の一助になれれば幸いと思います。
日本語教師と言っても、台湾生まれ、台湾育ちの私も、日本語学習の道の先輩に過ぎません。インターネットで各ジャンルのニュースやドラマを見たり、小説を読んだりするのが日課です。より豊富な知識や単語とより鋭い語感で、後輩たちの日本語学習の旅を支えさせていただきたいと思いますが、どうぞよろしくお願いします。

I am a Registered Nurse in the Philippines the same year I graduated in Nursing from Our Lady of Fatima University. I started teaching English as a Second Language in 2008. I enjoy listening to different people who talk about their stories in life. I listen well and don't immediately give feedback if it is not necessary. Why? Because "Learning starts from listening". If you pay attention to the stories and experiences of other people, you will learn things that you can also apply in your daily life. "Knowledge is not typically reserved on a brainy elite". Anyone can get wisdom as long as you seek wisdom in every opportunity...and listening is one of the simplest but an effective way to gain knowledge.
我喜歡聽不同的人說著自己的故事，我仔細地聆聽，除非必須，否則我不會馬上的給予回應。為什麼呢?? 因為”學習永遠來自於聆聽”，如果你能夠專心聆聽人們的經驗及故事，你就能有所收穫。”知識不只是來自於頭腦裡的東西，”任何人都可以獲得智慧；如果你可以從任何大小事中得到體認，而『聆聽』就是最簡單但也最有效率的方式去獲得智慧。
