有些人自視甚高，覺得處處比別人好，英文可以說：He’s a smart aleck.這裡smart aleck也可拼成 smart alec，指的就是「自以為是；自認為什麼都懂」的人。若想不文雅一點，也可以說：He’s a smart-ass(點我念給你聽)
.此外，若一個人凡事都要批評，又喜歡損人，可以說：He likes to put people down.（他喜歡貶低別人。）
