自信滿滿的Teacher Rey (雷)

Hello! My name is Rey and I’m 28 years old. My zodiac sign is Scorpio and I was born in the year of the Pig. I finished my college degree in 2008 in the Philippine Normal University with the course of Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education Major in Social Science. I was a teacher for three years teaching arts and social science subjects in three different schools, though my first experience in English teaching was with my second school where I was required to conduct my lessons in English. My first experience in teaching international students was with my last school.

你好，我是Rey(雷)老師，我今年28歲，我的星座是天蠍座，我在豬年出生。208年在菲律賓大學畢業，主修中等教育的社會科學。我當過三年美術與社會科學老師，在第二間學校時，我開始用英文教學，而在第三家學校時，開始接觸國際學生。

I’m a graduate and a specialist in Social Sciences. I can practically teach anything that is connected to it like History, Economics, and Philosophy and Culture. There are two main reasons for this. The first is, even though my field of specialization is Social Science, I was required to utilize the English language in every way possible for most of the good books in Social Science are written in English. Thus, I was able to use the language so well that I eventually taught it. The second is, since I love studying culture and history, I was able to find out that I have Chinese ancestry, and so I developed a liking for kung fu which led me to teach martial arts as a hobby.

我是社會科學的畢業生，因為社會科學牽涉的層面很廣泛，所以我必須具備許多相關的知識，像是歷史、經濟和文化哲學…等，也研讀了許多各科目的英文好書，因此在英文教學上我擁有比較廣泛的教學範圍。

My students can expect a lot from me. Since I’m a history teacher, they can expect a lot of trivial learning that can enhance their knowledge of expressions. My former students would exclaim that I’m one of the best teachers they’ve had. Also, I’m one of the coolest teachers any student could have because I’m funny. They can learn a lot from me while enjoying themselves. I would recommend myself to be one of the teachers here in High Tutor, and I would say students should enroll in my class because I studied culture which means I can easily adapt to any environment and make myself fit in with almost any kind of teaching-learning situation without intimidating my students, making me a good listener and adviser. So if a student has problems in learning, I can listen, give good advice, and even perhaps help in resolving the problem.
